“The girls are fighting”: Drag Race fans react to dramatic Global All Stars episode

The queens brought the drama on this week’s episode of Drag Race Global All Stars.

Spoilers ahead

Following the departure of Pythia, the six remaining queens – Alyssa Edwards, Kitty Scott-Claus, Kween Kong, Nehellenia, Tessa Testicle and Vanity Vain – returned to the werkroom.

It didn’t take long for the ladies to praise Vanity and her dazzling performance of Celine Dion’s ‘I Drove All Night.

When asked how she was feeling, the Swedish lip sync assian exclaimed: I’m gagged. Like, the only I saw in front of me was my mom. Celine Dion is her absolute biggest artist in the world. This is Mom’s old jacket.

“I struggle a lot with all these challenges. We know that. But this is what I do. If you put on a fucking song, I’m gonna give you a fucking show. And I’m still here.

After the ladies congratulated Kitty and Kween for their shared win, Alyssa lauded Nehellenia for her hilarious roast performance.

While she appreciated the praise, the Italian queen expressed her sadness over losing Pythia.

“I’m so sad because I was very close to Pythia and now that I come back here, and I can’t find her, for me, it’s a lot now, she tearfully explained.

The next day, the queens returned to the workroom refreshed and ready to tackle their next maxi-challenge of the week.

“My All Stars, I’m appointing each of you as a Global Glambassador. You’re mission – to use your unique drag style to transform a poor, unfortunate soul, Ru revealed.

“Because for this week’s maxi-challenge, you’ll be doing makeovers on some truly deserving individuals who have recently experienced an unexpected setback. Please welcome to the workroom, or should I say welcome back – your eliminated Global All Star sisters.”

Since Kween won the mini challenge, Ru granted her the privilege of choosing her partner first, which ended up being Soa de Muse.

The Aussie performer was then tasked with forming the other pairs, which resulted in the following teams: Alyssa and Eva Le Queen, Kitty and Miranda Lebrão, Nehellenia and Pythia, Tessa and Athena Likis, and Vanity with Gala Varo.

Before RuPaul left the workroom, she reminded the ladies that they must incorporate a family resemblance within their makeover.

With their new challenge revealed, the ladies got down to work on their concepts. While going over their ideas, each of the competing contestants had wholesome catch-up sessions with the eliminated queens.

Kween and Soa gushed about working together, with the former describing her decision as a “no-brainer.”

Alyssa opened up to Eva about wanting to redeem herself since she didn’t do well in the makeover challenge during her All Stars 2 run.

Vanity pitched her biker-girl concept to Gala, who openly welcomed the idea. The Drag Race Mexico star also expressed her love for the Swedish queen despite being eliminated by her.

Athena and Tessa shared a heartwarming moment, with the former apologizing for her comments about the latter’s dress during episode three.

In Nehellenia and Pythia’s corner, the Canada’s Drag Race star told the Italian talent that she missed her a lot before adding: “And I want you, out of all of these bitches, to make it to the end. Because they’re shady.

As for Kitty and Miranda, the pair took part in some shady banter. When the UK queen asked if she had ever done “cute drag before, the Brazilian talent replied: “Yeah bitch.”

Halfway through their creative process, Ru and Drag Race season 2 star Raven returned to the workroom to share helpful tips and reveal one final twist.

“To futher celebrate this reunion, I want you to add some razzle-dazzle to your runway as you choreograph your catwalk to my song, ‘Bring Back My Girls, Ru exclaimed.

After creating their respective routines and making over the eliminated sisters, the final six contestants displayed their work in front of the judges’ panel, including Drag Race Germany judge Dianne Brill.

During critiques, the judges praised Kween, Soa, Alyssa, Eva, Nehellenia, and Pythia for their family resemblance, while Kitty, Miranda, Vanity, Gala, Tessa and Athena received less than favourable reviews.

During Untucked, the ladies reflected on their respective makeovers, with Nehellenia and Kween receiving praise for their work.

However, when the conversation turned to Kitty, the UK queen expressed disappointment in the judges’ critiques.

“Oh, I’m a bit pissed off, to be honest. Apart from, maybe, Kween and Soa, I’d say we were the closest looking, she explained.

Athena quickly reminded Kitty that the judges lauded her and Miranda’s family resemblance but described it as a little “basic.

While everyone showered Kitty with love and support, the energy in the room took a dramatic turn when Kween threw shade at Nehellenia and Pythia’s look.

“You could have blended the beard the beard or maybe just shaped the jawline a little bit, the Aussie performer exclaimed.

In additional confessional, Kween added: “All these girls are sitting there being, ‘lovely, girl, this is so cute. You can feel how fake this shit is. I’m about to explode because this is too much bullshit, Kween added in a confessional.

While Kitty agreed with Kween’s comments, most of the other queens did not share the sentiment.

“This is stunning. You did such a good job, and I think this is your week, finally, Vanity stated.

However, it didn’t take long for Kween to jump back into the conservation with more unfiltered opinions, claiming that she didn’t see the family resemblance.

“I literally thought you guys were going to be in the bottom. I was so gagged when they were like, Oh, my god. They were just talking about the dresses the whole time. And I don’t mean to be a bitch, but I was just like, ‘am I looking at the same thing? Kween said.

In response, Nehellenia pushed back, stating: “I disagree. It’s totally my signature makeup.”

After the Drag Race Italia star said she appreciated the Down Under star’s opinion, Pythia added: “We all have them, like assholes, they say.

Ultimately, Nehellenia was named the winner of the maxi-challenge and awarded $10,000 courtesy of Facetune.

Kitty and Vanity made up the bottom two and were tasked with lip syncing to Cher’s hit single ‘Believe.

Unsurprisingly, the two talents delivered charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent on the stage. However, in the end, Ru asked Kitty to stay and Vanity to sashay away.

Shortly after the episode aired, fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the shady drama, the maxi-challenge outcome and Vanity’s departure.

One person wrote: “If you told me a year ago that the queen from DR Sverige (the most underwatched franchise) made it all the way to Top 6, won a challenge, was the lip sync assassin, and was a fan favorite on GLOBAL ALL STARS, I wouldn’t have believed you. But Vanity ATE that.

Another viewer commented: “Kitty crying because she’s basic, Kween lashing out because Nehellania did better than her…… BEST. EPISODE. YET.

A third fan tweeted: “Miranda Lebrão reading the absolute FUCK out of Kitty Scott Clause in front of RuPaul is sending ME.

On next week’s episode of Drag Race Global All Stars, the queens will be tasked with creating a queertastic tourism spot.
