Lemon has issued a message to the trolls following the sickening finale of Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs the World.
On 23 August, the second season of the Canada’s Drag Race spin-off ended following six weeks of hilarious maxi-challenges, jaw-dropping runways and juicy Golden Beaver drama.
For their sixth and final maxi-challenge, the top four contestants – Lemon, Kennedy Davenport, Alexis Michelle and Cheryl Hole – were tasked with participating in the ultimate lip sync smackdown for the crown.
Unsurprisingly, the talented queens laid it all out on the stage, with Lemon and Kennedy delivering a herstoric lip sync to ‘Hideaway ‘by Kiesza and Alexis and Cheryl wowing the judges with their ‘So Many Men, So Little Time’ lip sync.
In the end, Lemon and Alexis made it to the final two, and we were tasked with performing to Céline Dion’s epic track, ‘Love Can Move Mountains.’
Jam-packed with drama, fierce turns and sickening energy, the two drag talents effortlessly showcased their charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent.
After the dust settled, host Brooke Lynn Hytes named Lemon the winner of Canada vs the World season two and the new queen of the ‘Mother-Pucking World. ‘
While many viewers celebrated the beloved performer’s incredible win, some “fans” accused production of rigging the competition in her favour.
Fortunately, Lemon didn’t let the baseless critiques get her down.
Shortly after the finale aired, the UK vs the World star took to X, formerly known as Twitter, with a pointed message to the haters.
“I hope one day you all do so well at something that people say it was set up for you. I competed fair and square just like everyone else but you don’t have to believe me,” she wrote.

“You can think someone gifted me $100000 for no reason as long as u remember, it came w a crown.”
It didn’t take long for fans to swarm Lemon’s mentions with supportive and affirming messages.
One person commented: “Period !! I love Alexis sooo much, and that lipsync was beautiful from both of you, but the fact is you dominated that entire competition and deserved to win.”
Another fan tweeted: “It’s always a hating ass bitch somewhere. You were sickening from beginning to end, and REAL fans know this win and impeccable Drag Race run from you this season was LONG OVERDUE.”
A third fan wrote: “I’m genuinely so confused by people discrediting Lemon’s win bc bitch DID THAT all season! Crushed every challenge. Redemption from UKVW. Finally got her flowers and did it with such integrity. Big snaps diva.”
Lemon also received love from a handful of her Drag Race peers, including All Stars 9 champion Angeria Paris VanMichaels – who also faced similar critiques from “fans” following her win.
“You deserve it all!! You were amazing!! Just remember, everytime you see something negative, say to yourself “I still won” and move on!! Queen shit Congratulations sis!” she wrote.
In addition to earning the title of ‘Queen of the Mother-Pucking World’ title, Lemon received a cash prize of $100,000 – on top of her $20,000 tips from her maxi-challenge wins – and a crown and sceptre.
