Real Housewives of Orange County star Taylor Armstrong has come out as bisexual.
In the show’s recent episode, the former Beverly Hills housewife revealed the news during the cast’s trip to Montana.
After Tamra Judge asked Armstrong and new cast member Jennifer Pedranti to share fun facts about themselves, the former stated, “I’m bisexual,” which resulted in surprised reactions from some of the other ladies.
The Bravolebrity then went on to say that she was in a five-year relationship with a woman before marrying her late husband, Russell Armstrong.
“Hell, I know marriages that don’t last that long,” she added.
In an additional confessional, Armstong gave further insight into her sexuality and why some people are shocked by her identity.
“Most people are surprised to find out that I’m bisexual probably because just like stereotypes. I mean, it’s not something I broadcast, but I’m open to all people who have great souls and that you can love,” she said.
After the release of the episode, Armstrong took to Instagram to wish her followers a happy Pride and to thank them for their support.
“Happy Pride Month! Thank you to everyone for all of the love and support I’ve received since this episode aired. So thankful for my @BravoTV family,” she wrote.

In response, one fan commented: “Taylor, you are the best! Speak your truth.”
Another person wrote: “Thank you for bringing representation to the OC, Queen.”
Armstrong isn’t the first Real Housewives of Orange County star to come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Back in 2020, season 14-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke came out as a lesbian in a heartwarming interview with GLAAD.
“I like women. I’m gay. I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now,” she said.
“I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice. I’m just now starting to feel like I’m becoming the woman I’m supposed to be.”
In 2022, former Orange County regular Meghan King told People that she’s “somewhere on the gay spectrum.”
“It’s interesting because the way that I grew up was very traditional — all the way through I went to Catholic school,” she explained.
“But I’ve hooked up with women… I’m not a lesbian, I must be somewhere on the gay spectrum. I mean, we all are, everyone is.”
Outside of the Orange County series, fashion designer Jenna Lyons is set to make history as the first openly queer housewife to appear on The Real Housewives of New York – which premieres on 16 July.
